RETIRED ARMY OFFICER HANGS HIMSELF.

A retired officer of the Nigerian army has reportedly committed
suicide for reasons yet unknown. Captain Friday William tied a rope on
a mango tree outside his apartment and hung himself on it.
One of his neighbours who spoke up said they were shocked when
they woke up in the morning and found the Captain's body dangling from
the mango tree.
It was also discovered that before he hung himself, he had sent a
text message to his first son at about 10pm that night. Probably a few
minutes before tying the rope. He sent a text message to his son
consoling him about his father's death and also instructing him to
take good care of his siblings.
A few of his neighbours wondered why he did it as they felt he
was doing well, had three cars, an apartment house, and a good home
with children. He had made good money from his retirement benefits
years ago.
His son did not get his text message until the following morning
when he was called and given the tragic news.

BANKS MOVE TO TO REDUCE WITHDRAWAL LIMIT TO N10,000.

CBN GOVERNOR: Godwin Emefiele

Banks in the federation put forward a proposal to the CBN to
limit customer's over-the-counter withdrawal to N10,000. The proposal
was sent to the Central Bank of Nigeria by the committee for payment
systems and infrastructure last week. This proposal is as a result of
the decline in deposit received by the bank over a period of two
years.
But a report from the CBN deputy governor on Economic policy,
Dr.Alade Sarah attributed the reduction in deposit to the introduction
of the Treasury Single Account system(TSA).
She also added that the decline was also as a result of the decline
in interest and non interest income to the banks which had declined
substantially. Not just interest but also GDP, Gross profit,Gross
credit and industry asset values have also reduced. All these decrease
were largely due to TSA.

posted a video of a house worth about $18m and belonging to former
minister for petroleum Dieziani Alison Madueke.
The video and interview since then has gone viral. But in an exclusive
report, Dieziani has moved to counter the report. In a statement sent

despicable about professional media practices and global best

smeared on a regular basis, but nothing like this ever before. She
also accused the EFCC and Aljeezra as people who just wanted to "dress
her in the garb of a common criminal"
